Our organic cotton denim is sourced from ISKO in Turkey, one of the leading sustainable denim production houses on the planet. It includes a small amount of stretch, giving you "as close as you can get to I guess men's authentic denim but with that comfort".
Unwashed for Longevity
"Another thing we do here is we don't wash it. So there's no sort of fade effect or extra water used". While most companies use chemical or enzyme washes so the fabric feels softer on day one, we leave our true denim raw.
"You're gonna have to do a little bit of work on this denim because it won't feel quite as soft and stretchy as maybe some do, but it is so much better for the longevity of the product. It will wear much better". Because it retains its natural indigo, you can get them to look beautifully faded after 10 years of authentic wear and wash.
The Colours:
In its "box fresh state, it's a really smart looking denim," making it easy to dress up for an evening out. Because it fits neater on the waist, it pairs wonderfully with a loose but cropped boxy tee, vintage shirts, our Connie knitwear, or layered as "double denim" with our Jodie denim jacket.
